Refund eligibility depends on the type of booking (refundable or non-refundable) and the terms provided by the service supplier(hotel or transfer operator).
2. Hotels
2.1 Refundable Hotel Bookings
Bookings marked as "Refundable" can be canceled within the time frame specified at the time of booking.
Each hotel has its own cancellation policy, which will be displayed before confirming your reservation.
Refunds will be processed according to the hotel's policy, usually within 7-14 business days after cancellation.
If cancellation is made after the free cancellation deadline,a cancellation fee (as defined by the hotel) will apply.
No-shows (failure to arrive without prior cancellation) will be charged the full stay amount, unless otherwise stated by the hotel.
2.2 Non-Refundable Hotel Bookings
Bookings marked as "Non-Refundable" cannot be canceled or modified once confirmed.
In case of cancellation, no-show, or early departure, no refund will be issued.
These terms are final and agreed to by the customer at the time of booking.
2.3 Force Majeure
In cases of events beyond our control (e.g., strikes, weather disruptions, or government restrictions), refunds will be subject to the supplier’s discretion. UmrahBooking.com will make every reasonable effort to secure partial or full refunds from the supplier but cannot guarantee reimbursement.
3. Transfers
By confirming a booking, you agree to this policy and the accompanying Transfer Terms & Conditions.
3.1. General Refund Principles
Refund eligibility depends on the type of booking, supplier policy, and cancellation timing. All refunds are processed to the original payment method used at the time of booking.
Refunds are not applicable for:
No-shows (failure to appear at the agreed pickup point within the waiting time)
Late cancellations (after the free cancellation deadline)
Incorrect or incomplete passenger information resulting in missed service
3.2. Refundable Transfers
Cancellations are free of charge if made before the cancellation deadline stated in your booking confirmation.
If canceled after the stated deadline or within 48 hours of pickup, a 100% cancellation fee applies, and no refund will be issued.
Refunds will be processed within 7–14 business days after approval and confirmation of eligibility.
If the service is canceled by the provider due to operational reasons (e.g., vehicle breakdown), a full refund will be issued.
3.3 Non-Refundable Transfers
Bookings marked as Non-Refundable cannot be canceled, changed, or refunded after confirmation
This includes no-shows, late arrivals, or unused services
The total amount paid will be retained as a cancellation fee.
3.4 Delays, No-Shows & Missed Connections
If the passenger does not appear within the free waiting time (1 hour after flight arrival or 20 minutes for city/train pickups), the service will be marked as completed, and no refund will be issued.
If a passenger misses a flight or train connection due to a delay caused solely by the driver or service provider, UmrahBooking.com will reimburse the difference between the refunded amount of the original ticket and the cost of a new replacement ticket, up to a maximum of €500 per booking. To be eligible, passengers must provide:
Proof of delay caused by the driver (e.g., GPS data, chat logs, or written confirmation)
The new ticket and the refund confirmation for the original ticket
This policy does not apply if the delay was caused by:
Traffic, weather, or road closures
Passenger lateness or incorrect booking information
Force majeure events (e.g., natural disasters, war, government restrictions)
3.5 Force Majeure
